This presentation will explore the capabilities of clear aligners in managing challenging skeletal discrepancies through the application of TADs.

Through a series of clinical case studies, Prof. Kim will share practical insights into how clear aligners can effectively address sagittal discrepancies—such as skeletal Class II and Class III malocclusions—as well as vertical discrepancies, including anterior open bite, all while minimizing anchorage loss.

In addition, Prof. Kim Joon Ji will discuss biomechanically sound strategies for optimal TAD placement, including key considerations when selecting appropriate screw diameter and length based on the anatomical characteristics of various insertion sites.
